
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A 26-year-old Mason man was arrested for allegedly stealing a car and a dog.
According to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, the car was stolen Tuesday morning around 2 a.m. in Delhi Township. The dog named Moose was inside the car when it was stolen.
Deputies found Moose and the vehicle around 9 a.m. abandoned at Cedar Street and College Road. The sheriff’s office said Moose was returned to the owner in good health.
Two hours later, deputies found the suspect in the 1600 block of North College Rd. He was lodged at the Ingham County Jail.
The investigation will be turned over to the Ingham County Prosecutors Office for review and possible charges for theft of the dog and vehicle.
