1 injured, 2 dogs dead following apparent explosion in Bristol, Virginia

A person was injured and two dogs were killed following an apparent explosion and fire that happened on Saturday, according to the Bristol, Virginia Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the 200 block of Hadden Street at 12:23 p.m. Crews were able to quickly the fire, which was contained to the building’s debris, preventing damage to a nearby home.

The occupant of the structure, who sustained burns to his arms, was treated by fire personnel before being transported to Bristol Regional Medical Center. The occupant said he had been using a propane heater inside the building and believed the dogs might have knocked it over, igniting a fire. A propane tank was involved in the fire and may have exploded, though it remains unclear if nearby 5-gallon gasoline containers contributed to the blaze.

The fire is under investigation and is currently considered accidental.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
