Young-Williams asking for help after taking in over 60 dogs evacuated by LA wildfires

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Young-Williams Animal Center is asking for foster families to help out as the center takes in animals evacuated from Los Angeles due to wildfires.

Young-Williams said on Facebook Monday that more than 60 dogs were coming to the Scruffy City. To make some room, the center asked those willing to sign up to foster animals.

Families who foster don’t have to buy any supplies; Young-Williams takes care of any costs.

“The national shelter community comes together during times like this to help each other and make sure rescued animals have a safe place to go,“ Young-Williams said. ”If you are interested in adopting, please come in and meet our adoptable animals.”

Those interested in adopting can find out more here.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
