If you’re a dog parent that is looking for an event to take your dog to, look no further.
Swiss Bear has announced a Yappy Hourstarting at 5:00 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton on the Riverfront on Friday, August 23. There will be a Margaritaville theme, fun music, a delicious gourmet menu (for both dogs and their parents), handmade dog biscuits and the best margaritas and tropical drinks in town served at the tiki bar!
“We hope that Yappy Hour will grow into a regular event on the last Friday of each month in the summertime, providing our dog-friendly town and its residents a special time to gather, listen to music, eat, drink, dance and mingle with other pet lovers. It’s a perfect environment to have summertime fun in good company even if you don’t have a pup. This playful community event has been a few years in the making, and Anthony Allen, the chef at the Doubletree, has been very creative with the menus. The pups will have a separate made-to-order menu with three high-quality protein choices as well as special craft cocktails including a Pawsecco, a Puppacino with peanut butter and whipped cream, and doggie beer.” says Ann Marie Byrd, Events Director for Swiss Bear.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Swiss Bear in their continual support of downtown development. The event is free and open to the public.
