If you have an empty calendar this weekend, there’s lots to do in the Yakima Valley.
Wineries are opening doors for locals and visitors for the popular Spring Barrel weekend. Rock and mineral enthusiasts are meeting for the 62nd annual Parade of Gems. There’s a dog show at Sozo, and an Earth Day event and Kids Fish In at Sarg Hubbard.
Here are the details:

This weekend, April 25-27, 2025, is the primary weekend with numerous events planned.
Over 30 wineries from Naches Heights to Red Mountain will offer visitors tastes of how young vintages mature. Guests might be treated to wines pulled right out of the barrel. Some wineries will offer unique pairings and tastings as well as educational experiences.
Many wineries will have live music, local food vendors and more.
