Woman sees what dog walker does with pups—has a message for the owners

A woman in Boston has gained viral attention after sharing a heartwarming message for the owners of a group of dogs she saw by the water.

Julie Feeney, 43, who lives just outside of Boston, posted a video that has now racked up over 2 million views. In it, she delivers a sweet shout-out to some four-legged residents—and the people who care for them.

“If you live in Boston Seaport and your dogs have a dog walker, I just want to let you know that your dogs are being very, very good girls and boys and just made my whole day,” Feeney said in the video, filmed near the Children’s Museum in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood.

In the video was a group of dogs, and a professional dog walker managing the calm and cheerful pack, sitting beautifully for the camera.

“I know how much people love seeing dogs, and with all the bad news in the world I hoped it would bring people some joy,” Feeney told Newsweek. “I loved the reaction it got, so much positivity and so many kind comments about the dog walker.”

Some of the comments from delighted viewers included. “Hahah this made my morning. If this was one of my babies I’d be so proud of them,” said viewer Liz.

While Kimmy said: “That golden is putting in overtime posing that good for the camera.”

Fellow dog walker Hotdogwater wrote: “As a Dog Walker, I want you to know that we love your dogs just as much as you do and we have a whole secret life with them. They’re like family to us.”

“Thank you for sharing this because it made my day,” said TikToker eatbeans07.

That dog walker, who is named Cris, is a bit of a local celebrity himself, well known for his dog skills. While Feeney hasn’t spoken with Cris directly, she says she heard from the owner of the company he works for, Boston’s Best Dog Walkers.

“He told me that the dog walker Cris was very flattered by all the kind messages, and Cris has actually started his own TikTok as well where he features the dogs from my video, it is @cris_the_dog_walker,” Feeney said.

Newsweek reached out to @cris_the_dog_walker via TikTok for comment.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
