Woman cited with 11 counts of ‘over-possession of animals’

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A Jonesboro woman faces more than a dozen charges after police said she allowed her dogs to run loose.

Officers cited 61-year-old Karen Sue Cook for harboring dangerous dogs, dogs running loose, five rabies vaccination violations, and 11 counts of over-possession of animals.

According to the initial incident report, Officer Jeremy Earley responded to Heath Lane on March 17 after receiving “several complaints from the residents” about “overly aggressive dogs running loose.”

One of the neighbors claimed that one of the dogs attacked her in late February.

The 42-year-old woman also told Earley the dogs were “loose again” on March 16 and “acting aggressive towards her and her family.”

The officer cited Cook for the multiple violations. She’s due in court on June 16.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
