In Middlesex Township, a 61-year-old woman faces legal repercussions following allegations of neglecting two Pomeranian dogs by leaving them unattended in a camper. Catherine Robson has been charged with two counts of animal neglect, as confirmed by the local police.
The incident came to light on June 11 when Middlesex Township Police were alerted to a situation at a truck stop located on Harrisburg Pike. Reports indicated that two dogs had been left alone inside a camper. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the dogs in a state of neglect within the disheveled confines of the camper.
One of the Pomeranians was found confined in a small crate, where it had been locked up for over 30 hours without access to food or water. The police have described the act of leaving the dogs in these conditions as intentional.
Charges were subsequently filed against Robson as the investigation continues. The condition of the dogs following their discovery and the legal proceedings against Robson are yet to be updated.
