Angela Anderson was charged with violations of the local animal control ordinance, but officers were also looking for another owner, officials said.

On Wednesday, city officials said officers served a search warrant at a home on Ravenel Street.

The missing dog owner was identified as Jody Paradis, who was at the home and issued the following summons:

  • Owning and harboring a dangerous animal
  • 2 counts of allowing pets to run at large
  • 2 counts of pets creating a nuisance
  • Animal cruelty

The animal cruelty charge came due to conditions and lack of veterinary treatment not provided to another dog found during the search, the official said.

Paradis chose to surrender both of her dogs to Spartanburg County officials.

The dogs are now being tested for rabies, officials said.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
