Woman arrested for animal cruelty after dogs found injured in RV

Last week, Vancouver Police Department officers responded to reports of a woman severely beating her dogs in a parking lot in the Meadow Homes neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officers established probable cause for first-degree animal cruelty, VPD said in a post on X.

The suspect was removed from her vehicle, along with a Cane Corso dog that had obvious injuries to its head and eyes.

The woman was taken into custody, and with the assistance of animal control, an additional 10 animals were removed from the RV. These included eight French Bulldogs and two cats.

“If you hurt animals, you will go to jail,” said the post from the police department. The department also extended a “huge shoutout to animal control for the assist on this call.”

In a video VPD posted, the dogs can be seen as they are rescued.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
