Woman arrested after over 80 dogs seized from Lauderdale Co. home

LAUDERDALE CO., Ala. (WAFF) – An arrest has been made on Tuesday after over 80 dogs were confiscated from a Lauderdale County home on Jan. 28, officials say.

According to the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, following an animal cruelty investigation where 82 dogs were seized, a warrant was issued for 71-year-old Teresa Gaye Counce, of Florence.

The sheriff’s office said Counce was arrested after investigators found probable cause that animal cruelty had occurred.

Counce was arrested earlier on Tuesday on 82 counts of Cruelty to Animals (misdemeanor).

She was released from the Lauderdale County Jail on a $41,000 bond.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
