Woman accused of pepper spraying dogs at Cape Coral dog park

A woman was arrested Saturday morning at Rotary Park Dog Park in Cape Coral for allegedly spraying several dogs with pepper spray.

Witnesses told Cape Coral police that Charlene J. Tedesco, 68, was seen walking around the outside of the dog park fence and spraying a chemical at dogs that approached her.

One witness said a dog was sprayed in the eyes, causing it to yelp and try to rub its eyes in the dirt. The dog’s owner and a bystander flushed the dog’s eyes with a hose.

Tedesco admitted to officers that she sprayed dogs’ feet with pepper spray, claiming she feared an attack despite the fence separating her from the dogs.

Police determined there was no threat to Tedesco, who was charged with animal cruelty and taken to the Lee County Jail.

She also received a trespass warning, barring her from returning to the park.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
