Westfield dog licenses will switch to April 1 renewal deadline for all

WESTFIELD — The City Council recently approved an amendment to the dog licensing requirements in the city, establishing an annual license period of April 1 to March 30. Previously, the license period was one year from the date of issue, so that different licenses had different expiration dates, making it harder for the city clerk’s office to track renewals.

In a letter to the council, City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce explained that the new license period will align Westfield with the majority of communities in Massachusetts, and reduce expenses and staff time in the clerk’s office.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
