WATCH: Dog rescued from volcano, caught on video

BIG ISLAND, Hawaii (KMID/KPEJ)- A Big Island man has made a name for himself by rescuing dogs.

60-year-old Kawika Singson has rescued dogs on Hawaii island since 2019 and recently rescued a nine-month-old puppy named Misty that fell nearly 25 feet down into a narrow volcanic crack.

Singson said that he films his rescues to raise awareness…urging dog owners to put a GPS tracker on their pet just in case. “I’m six for six on these dogs that I go after that, no one can or willing to go after 2:51 so I’m very proud of that. And you know, main thing to get the dog back to the owner, that’s my main priority.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
