BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey released a video on Tuesday that detailed a recent case involving animal cruelty.

The suspect is identified as 66-year-old Deborah Lester from Titusville.

Sheriff Ivey says Lester is charged with felony for two counts of Animal Cruelty -Torture Inflice Pain Serious Physical Injury Death and Abandonment of an Animal.

The woman allegedly abandoned two dogs near US-1. When deputies arrieved, where they found the dogs dead after they were hit by vehicles along US-1.

Her bond is set at $7,000.

Lester has been booked into the Brevard County Jail.
