Waco animal shelter offers free adoptions for dogs and cats over one-year-old

WACO, Texas — The Waco Animal Shelter is partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell for the Empty The Shelters National Adoption Event, offering free adoptions for dogs and cats over one-year-old through July 31.

Puppies and kittens under one-year-old are available for adoption for $50. This opportunity includes spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, and vaccines, according to the City of Waco Public Information Office.

Prospective pet owners can view adoptable animals online at HumaneSocietyCentralTexas.org/Adopt or visit the shelter in person at 2032 Circle Road any day of the week to find their new best friend.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
