Waccamaw Sportsmen Expo celebrates river life with dogs, food, and outdoor activities

The Waccamaw Sportsmen Expo on Saturday focused on life along the Waccamaw River.

It’s a family-friendly event, and especially a dog-friendly event, hosted by Conway Downtown Alive.

Anyone could bring their pup along for the ride.

Executive Director of Conway Downtown Alive Hillary Howard said that the Expo was meant for pups and people.

The Waccamaw sportsmen expo is focused on life along the Waccamaw River. Its a family friendly event and especially a dog friendly event. Seems like every person who comes brings their dog along. Hunting fishing, conservation, boating, just really what it means to be in Horry County and enjoy our beautiful outdoors, said Howard.

The expo featured many food trucks and vendors, the DockDogs competition, a national competition where dogs run and jump off of a dock into a 27,000-gallon pool, a conservation tent with rehabilitated animals from Black Creek Wildlife Center, boats and jetskis on display, and wild game cooking demonstrations.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
