If you’re a fan of luxury handbags, you will have no doubt come across the Hermes Kelly on your social media feed. The bag has been around a long time, it was first launched in 1935 but was renamed after Grace Kelly, who was fond of the elegant handbags, in the late 1970s.
These bags, however, are not only very expensive but extremely exclusive – with Hermes only dishing out a certain number of bags every year to its lucky clientele. Fortunately, I’ve found a bag that looks exceptionally similar at a fraction of the cost.
While not 100% identical, the London Mini Bag from Totes Luxe UK features the same trapezoid silhouette and single top handle as the ultra high-end version. It’s available in 12 colours and crafted from luxurious full-grain leather.

The bag features and a twist-lock fastener, the same as the Hermes Kelly, as well as a strap so you can wear it crossbody. It costs £148, which is a considered purchase, but it’s a far cry from the designer version which would you set back thousands of pounds.
The London Mini Bag boasts dozens of five-star ratings from happy customers. One shopper said: “The most gorgeous design and colour. Often mistaken for a famous French brand. I now want one in every colour.”
A second wrote: “I get endless compliments and gasps as people think they are by a famous French brand. I love good quality stylish bags and these absolutely fulfil that. The leather is gorgeous, sturdy, and robust. These bags will last years and years! My mum has asked for a bag now so I shall be ordering again.”

Somebody else said: “I bought this bag last year, and it has been a fantastic addition to my collection. The quality has held up incredibly well over time, with no signs of wear and tear. It’s stylish and versatile, making it perfect for both casual and formal occasions.”
One shopper wasn’t as happy with the London Mini Bag, however, because the leather ‘was stiff’. Their two-star review reads: “Much stiffer than expected and I’ve been airing it for a couple of weeks now to try and get rid of the factory smell but no joy. Certainly doesn’t look or feel like my other leather bags – disappointing.”
But another loved their latest handbag, adding: “Exceeded my expectations. The bag is of really good quality and the perfect size. I absolutely love it.”
Elsewhere, River Island has some stunning options that are even more budget-friendly.
