Houston police are investigating a disturbing case of animal cruelty after a stray dog was shot on January 17 in northwest Houston.
Officers responded to a call near 3503 E. TC Jester about the wounded dog and spoke with a witness who heard the shots rang out.

The witness described seeing a man in a white truck who admitted to shooting the dog. Despite this confession, no arrests have been made, and police are still piecing together exactly what happened.
The case is now being handled by HPD’s Animal Cruelty Division, and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
