A Spartanburg County, South Carolina, woman was charged and another is wanted after dogs attacked a man, officials said Tuesday. Officials with the Spartanburg County Environmental Enforcement Department said an animal control officer was called at 5:30 p.m. on Monday to Valentine Lane in Greer about a possible dog attack.Investigators said that three pit bull terrier mixes, two males and one female, attacked a man.The man was taken by ambulance to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Medial Center for treatment of his injuries, officials said. They did not release the man’s name or his condition.The officer determined the dogs belonged to a woman, later identified as Angela Anderson, who lives on Ravenel Street. The officer was able to contain the three canines described as a white and black unaltered (not neutered or spayed) male pit bull mix canine that was covered in blood, a gray and white unaltered male pit bull mix, and a black and dark brown female pit bull.After admitting to owning the gray and white unaltered male pit bull, Anderson was charged with violations of the local animal control ordinance, officials said. Officers are currently looking for a second dog owner and additional charges could be filed later, officials said. They said all three dogs are under quarantine.
