Ukraine’s heavy-duty Vampire drones are now transporting robot dogs to frontlines amid the ongoing war against Russia, according to reports.
A recent video that appeared on social media shows the heavy-duty drone lifting the robot dog to a small height, and then landing the robot before flying away.
“Soon drones designed to rapidly deploy infantry on the battlefield or behind enemy lines may be developed,” a Ukrainian aerial scout told local media.

A robot dog seen in the video is a kind of agile ground drones that can be remotely operated. Soldiers claimed that its small silhouette makes it almost invisible in the battlefield.
In forested areas, the robots are camouflaged with fabric, while in urban settings, any material can be used to disguise them. The robots record their surroundings, transmitting footage to the operator, which provides a real-time view of the battlefield, reported Kyiv Post.
Soldiers also say that any relevant technologies can be integrated into these modern machines and it’s the need of forces during war. Ukrainian troops believe those who adapt and seize new opportunities will gain an edge over the enemy.
Robot dog demonstrated its capabilities
The robot dogs were developed by Brit Alliance and the company sent over 30 of the devices to Ukraine, according to German newspaper Bild.

The company maintains that the robot dog exhibited exceptional mobility and agility, crucial for traversing complex and hostile environments.
“Whether navigating through debris, climbing over obstacles, or moving stealthily across open ground, the robot dog has proven itself capable of maintaining a high level of operational effectiveness,” said the company.
The company also claims that in a wide range of environments, its drone solutions offer maximum coverage with minimum ground effort. “Everything is tailored to meet your specific needs and we always take into account the operational parameters of your organization, as well as local regulations,” the company says.

Using partnerships in the defence industry, the company’s state-of-the-art drone technology features the same interception systems currently being used in the conflict in Ukraine. The company claims its solutions are all proven in the most severe conditions, including high winds and extreme temperatures.
Ukrainian troops have taken over 30 of the dogs, which are effectively sophisticated land drones. Each unit costs around $9,000 to produce, and Brit Alliance has promised to update the units based on feedback from the Ukrainian troops, reported Fox News.
