Ukiah goes to the dogs on Saturday’s Bark in the Park • The Mendocino Voice

UKIAH, CA., 6/16/25 – Dogs and their humans won’t want to miss a fun-filled morning of pup-friendly fun when the City of Ukiah hosts Bark in the Park on Saturday.

The event seeks to build community among local dogs and their humans, the city said.

Dogs are invited to participate in a trick contest at 10 a.m. and a dog race at 11 a.m. for prizes.

The event coincides with the Community Yard Sale, allowing attendees a chance to browse the many vendors selling gently used wares and handmade crafts. There will also be a special area showcasing pet-centric vendors and organizations.

Bark in the Park takes place Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the barbecue area at Todd Grove Park in Ukiah.

Visit https://cityofukiah.com/barkinthepark/ for more information and to pre-register for the trick contest and dog race.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
