Two Oconee Co. deputies bitten by dogs while on duty

WALHALLA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office said two deputies suffered dog bites in unrelated incidents on Friday.

A deputy serving a civil paper in Mountain Rest was bitten in the lower leg by a rottweiler. The agency said the deputy did not require medical attention.

Another deputy was serving an arrest warrant in the Townville area when he was bitten on the upper right arm by a pit bull. The deputy was transported by EMS to the hospital for medical treatment.

Animal Control responded to the scene and is investigating.

“Our deputies face risks every day,” Sheriff Mike Crenshaw said. “I am thankful that both are expected to make a full recovery.”

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
