Town of Wrightsville Beach to review dog restriction policy

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The Town of Wrightsville Beach is reviewing its policy on dogs on the beach, according to a release from the town.

The town’s current ordinance restricts dogs on the strand from April 1- Sept. 30.

The Board of Alderman has directed staff to develop a process to review the policy, including assembling a cross-section of residents to help guide how the town moves forward.

“We appreciate the community’s engagement and patience as we work through this process. More information will be shared as the next steps are determined,” officials stated.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
