Tioga Co. women dead following dog attack

APALACHIN, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a man-down animal complaint on Thursday.

The office said upon investigation, it found Darnelle A. Greeno, 52, was attacked by her dog and sustained multiple bites throughout her body. Greeno was pronounced dead on the scene.

The dog then attacked a nearby bystander who was walking his dog and was able to dispatch animal control.

The office said the dog is deceased and there is no public threat.

Tioga County Road Patrol was assisted by the Tioga County Criminal Investigation Division, Town of Owego Dog Control and the Tioga County Coroners Office.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
