CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Charleston County Parks is selling advance tickets for its annual Dog Day Afternoons.

This event allows Charlestonians to bring their dogs to one of three waterparks before the end of summer.

Splash Zone at James Island County Park and Splash Island at Palmetto Islands County Park will both host their Dog Day Afternoons on Saturday, August 17. Whirlin’ Waters at Wannamaker County Park will host its event on Sunday, September 8.

There will be morning and afternoon sessions at both events, with the morning session lasting from 10 a.m-12 p.m. and the afternoon session lasting from 1-3 p.m.

While tickets will be available onsite for $20, pet owners are encouraged to register in advance for $15, as these events are expected to sell out.

To purchase tickets, visit ccprc.com/dogday.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
