To the person who continues to comment about our bad experience at the Plant City Strawberry Festival, you didn’t pay $85 for four lunches for four people and wait in a long line. Your snide remarks should be kept to yourself and mind your own business. You obviously were not there.
Why does a weight-loss drug continue to advertise on TV (with a very annoying ad) when the drug isn’t even available when prescribed? The company is advertising something that can’t be purchased!! How stupid is that? Just stop advertising and increase production first!
I am ticked off that dog owners now bring their dogs everywhere! Grocery stores, restaurants, Target, you name it! As a person who is allergic to dogs and cats it is beyond annoying to be in close quarters with very large, furry dogs where you are forced to brush up against them to pass by or sit next to them at meals. Touching the dog’s fur and touching my face causes hives and eyes to swell. And, best of all the dog owner is offended when you don’t gush over the dog and pet it.
I have to disagree with the comics haters. I save the comics for last to give me some cheer after reading all the mostly fear-inducing news we’ve got going on these days. To me the comics, if not always laugh out loud funny, are endearing (Classic Peanuts!), appeal to my snarky sense of humor (Pearls Before Swine), or simply give me something to look forward to (all the comics with ongoing story lines). So haters, go ahead and hate; I’m glad I’m not like you
The flip side
I want to extend a sincere thank you to all the VA employees at the VA clinics and hospitals in Orlando. Despite facing incredible job stress and uncertainty about their futures, they continue to serve our local veterans with professionalism and kindness. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and I wish you all the very best.
