Three dogs to be euthanized in Levy County unless rescue groups step in

BRONSON, Fla. (WCJB) – Some dogs are still up for adoption after the Levy County Animal Services building was deemed unsafe.

Officials say 11 dogs are still up for adoption and now three dogs are on the list to be put down if they are not taken in by another animal rescue by Thursday.

Officials say workers from another shelter are coming by to evaluate one of those three dogs.

The shelter was found to have issues with sanitary conditions and faulty equipment.
