Three Dogs Attack Child In Waupun

(Waupun) Possible criminal charges could be brought forth after a child in Waupun was attacked by three dogs. The Waupun Police Department Monday said that shortly after 6pm on Friday, they responded to the 200 block of Fond du Lac Street for a report of a dog attack.

The child was transported to a medical facility for the severe injuries suffered during the incident. The child’s 34-year-old father was also bitten when attempting to physically stop the dogs from attacking his child. A neighbor also assisted in helping to separate the dogs from the child.

The owner of the dogs, who authorities identified as a 42-year-old woman, was able to secure the animals in her house. Police have ordered the owner to quarantine the dogs at an approved secure facility outside of the city.

The owner is also being issued numerous ordinance citations for Animals at Large, Failure to License a Dog, and Rabies Control. Authorities say that criminal charges are being reviewed for referral to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office.

They add that the dog owner is also civilly liable for any damages. The incident remains under investigation.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
