Two separate moose encounters have left two residents and two dogs injured. On June 2, 2024, a person was walking their two dogs, both leashed, in Winter Park and decided to turn around after seeing a cow moose and her calf. However, the moose saw the person, charged after him and knocked him down. The moose then proceeded to stomp both dogs.

On June 3, a person was running in a Winter Park neighborhood when they were attacked by a cow moose around 8:30 p.m. This person received serious injuries to their upper body, including their head and chest, and was transported to the hospital to receive medical treatment. Wildlife officers have been monitoring the area and put up warning signs alerting people that there is a defensive cow moose and calf in the area.

Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa is expanding its low-carbon footprint with the addition of two Tesla charging stations, plus one for universal electric cars. The new Tesla chargers, which Tesla provided to Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa, take approximately four hours to fully charge a car and are available free-of-charge to overnight guests and to day guests on space-available basis. The universal charger, which is being provided by the State of Colorado, is expected to be available later in June and will be able to accommodate electric vehicles made by Chevrolet, Honda and more. The universal charger takes approximately four to eight hours to fully charge a car and, like the Tesla charger, will be free to overnight guests and to day guests on an as-available basis.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
