Wondering where to take your furry friend during the dog days of summer? HGTV listed this South Jersey beach as a fan-favorite, dog-friendly spot to spend the season.

Wildwood’s Dog Park and Beach joined 15 other spots in the country on the network’s roundup.

“Your dog will get the zoomies when you visit New Jersey’s Wildwood Dog Park and Beach on Glenwood Avenue in the city of Wildwood,” writes HGTV’s Lynn Coulter.

According to the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority, all dogs must be licensed and must remain leashed unless inside the enclosed beach dog park.

North Wildwood beaches also allow dogs during the summer season when lifeguards are off duty.

The park is hard to miss, equipped with a 25-foot-tall red fire hydrant sculpture. The fenced-in dog park has two sections, one each for large and small breed dogs.

The block-and-a-half long dog beach is open 6 a.m. to dusk and includes plenty of amenities like water stations, plastic bags for cleanup, shade structures and play stations, according to the tourism authority.

Other recreational areas welcoming to four-legged friends include Sunset Lake, the Sea Wall in North Wildwood and the Wildwoods Bike Path.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
