‘These coyotes are taking over’: Donelson man says his 2 dogs were attacked

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Coyotes are terrorizing a Donelson neighborhood, according to one man and his family.

Brian Keith Robertson said eight or nine coyotes have appeared on his land recently. On one occasion, Robertson said his two dogs were attacked. One of the dogs had to be put down and he said he had to seek medical attention for the second one injured in the attack.

“I had to get rid of the little one because he can’t take care of itself,” Robertson said, “I don’t know how to get rid of coyotes in my back yard that are killing my dogs.”

Robertson said he reached out to the Metro Animal Care and Control as well as the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA). Robertson said the TWRA told him he can shoot the coyotes to protect his property.

The TWRA said there are some things people can do to keep coyotes away, like not leaving food or trash around your house. The agency also said wildlife removal companies can help with trapping unwanted animals on your property.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
