The GoTeam therapy dogs shared the love at the Boise Airport this Valentine’s Day.
BOISE, Idaho — Feb. 14 is a day known mostly for hues of pink, red, and of course, lots of love. For some, this day drags on, but it doesn’t have to with a little help from the GoTeam therapy dogs.
Passengers of the Boise Airport (BOI) started their Valentine’s Day travels the right way by getting a quick “smooch” from a pooch Friday.
The specially trained therapy dogs and their handlers made several different visits, offering comfort and kisses throughout the day.
“We decided that for Valentine’s Day this year we wanted to spread a little bit of puppy love,” Boise Airport spokesperson Jennifer Kronberg said. “We invited the GoTeam therapy dogs to come join us in the terminal today, and they accepted our invitation, and passengers are just absolutely loving every minute of it.”
The GoTeam therapy dogs are specialized in therapy and crisis work. For those with air travel anxiety, these pups may be a welcome visitor at BOI to help alleviate stress.
Boise Airport travelers may see the dogs on the second floor rotunda until 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14.
