Therapy dogs lend paw to lift spirits of Denton’s young readers, older adults and more

For the past 18 years, this nonprofit has been bringing therapy dogs to community members of all ages.

Therapy Pals, a subsidiary of dog training nonprofit Golden Triangle Dog Obedience Group, and its members’ trained therapy dogs have been visiting different local facilities since 2007. GTDOG President Elaine Diver has seen the impact that visiting dogs have on people.

2019 Read to Rover

Five-year-old Riya Gandhi reads a book to Pico, a Portuguese water dog, and his owner, Cheri Morrow, during Read to Rover in 2019 at North Branch Library. Therapy Pals of Golden Triangle brings trained dogs to the library so kids can improve their reading skills.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
