‘That dog was trying to kill’: Woman describes dog attack in the Beaches that left her and her dog injured

A woman has facial injuries and her dog suffered severe bites to the neck, after she says the two were attacked by two dogs being walked as part of a group through the Beaches. 

Just before noon Thursday, Toronto resident Amy South said she was walking her family’s 11-year-old Maltese-Shih Tzu-Poodle, Sandy, down Willow Avenue, turning west onto Queen Street East. Once they turned the corner, she sensed the dog-walker coming toward her appeared aggressive, she said.
