TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two dogs died and one person was taken to a local hospital after a mobile home on Page Road went up in flames early Monday morning, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.
Firefighters said the fire happened just after 7 a.m. Monday when crews responded to the structure fire on Page Road. Once firefighters arrived, TFD said heavy fire was found coming from a mobile home.
That’s when crews quickly pulled hose lines and began to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters searched the mobile home and found no people inside, according to TFD’s press release. However, the fire department said two dogs were found dead inside of the home.
One person was taken to a local hospital due to smoke inhalation, per TFD.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
