Texas County animal rescue group finds several dead dogs in abandoned home

CABOOL, Mo. (KY3) – An animal rescue group rescued several dogs, but found several others dead inside an abandoned house in Texas County.

The rescue happened on June 16 in Cabool. The Ozarks Pet Rescue group stated that they collaborated with Texas County authorities to investigate the case.

The group found several dead dogs, including puppies. The dogs found alive were eating the dead dogs. The group said the owner left the home around the Mother’s Day weekend.
