Tennessee postal worker mauled by dog

LINCOLN CO., Tenn. (WAFF) – A United States Postal Worker is recovering after being severely attacked by a dog in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the attack happened Saturday on Harbin Road in Fayetteville.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the postal worker was delivering a package to a home on that street when a large dog jumped onto her and latched onto her arm. They say the woman tried to get the dog off her arm but only after she used dog spray did it let go of her.

She went to the hospital with serious injuries to her arm. The dog was later confiscated by animal control.

Deputies made contact with the owner over the phone and told him about the incident. He couldn’t provide them with a copy of the dog’s rabies vaccine when asked.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
