
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Hundreds of dogs were available at the Super Adoption Day event held Saturday at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence.
The dogs came from 13 shelters, on hand for potential adopters to meet and connect with.
Organizers from “Always Adopt” called it an opportunity for attendees to interact with the dogs, complete adoption applications, and undergo on-site screening processes.
Participating rescues include Rhode Home Rescue, Charlestown Animal Shelter, Friends of Homeless Animals, Ruff Tales Rescue, East Greenwich Animal Protection League, Animal Rescue New England, Save On Soul Animal Rescue League, Fetch Dog Rescue, Anchor Paws, Deez Louise Dogs, Animal Rescue Kingdom, Providence Animal Control, and South Kingstown Animal Shelter.
