Chance is a survivor. The dog did whatever it took to keep going, no matter how bad things got. The pup was struggling to keep going while living on the streets. So much so, that he resorted to eating rocks and dirt just to keep himself alive. But then things took a turn for the better. And now the story of this scrappy dog might just be the thing to get him a forever home.

Rescued by the HoofBeats and PawPrints Rescue, Chance’s world is going to get better. We just know it! First, the rescue has saved him. Next, comes the dog finding his perfect match.

Chance’s past might be tragic, but his future could be so bright. All he needs is the right loving home to come and find him.

According to the rescue, the “lack of food has left Chance physically weak,” but that can change. But have no fear — “his spirit and mind are bright and strong.”

The dog’s survival diet did impact the dog. “It broke down his body, damaged his coat, and nearly stole his spirit—but he never gave up,” they added.
