Street Dog Hero prepared to welcome 28 dogs into their care, at the Bend Airport

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — On Sunday, at the Bend Airport , Street Dog Hero will be welcoming more dogs into their care. They will be taking in 28 dogs from a shelter in Norman, Oklahoma.

Street Dog Hero has had 473 adoptions this year, as well as having 3,338 animals adopted since 2017. Street Dog Hero’s mission is to serve dogs in need around the world and their communities through rescue, adoption, wellness, spray/neuter, and education.

Kelsey McGee will be on hand to capture the dogs arrival. She will be speaking with staff on hand. Her report will be on NewsChannel 21 at Six.
