Stormy the rescue dog seeks a new beginning after heartbreaking past

After surviving a harrowing ordeal during last year’s hurricanes, a resilient rescue dog named Stormy is looking for a loving home.Stormy, a spirited 35-pound terrier mix believed to be part Schnauzer, was found abandoned with her puppies in a wire crate submerged in a flooded field.Some of the puppies didn’t survive, trapped in the lower portion of the crate where water had pooled.Despite the traumatic experience, Stormy fought to keep her remaining puppies safe. Thanks to rescuers, all of her surviving puppies have since been adopted. Now, Stormy is hoping for her own happy ending.She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and ready to leave her painful past behind.
