BILLINGS, Mont. – Vet-To-Go, Inc., a Billings-local mobile veterinarian, shared on social media that one of their receptionists had her car, two dogs and phone stolen on Saturday.
They report that the dogs and the car were stolen while the receptionist was dropping her dogs off at Quirky K9 Grooming, located on 24th St W in Billings. Security cam footage from the groomers showed a man jumped into her car and drove off with the vehicle.
Three dogs were inside the car along with her phone.
The car thief drove off with the stolen vehicle and turned off the phone. He dumped a crate containing one of the dogs around the corner, but two dogs remained lost in the car, a male and female French bulldog with light brown fur as pictured above.
Then, the vehicle was spotted later in the day near Pryor, Montana, and the two bulldog puppies were found.
It is believed the dogs were thrown from the moving vehicle. Sadly, the female bulldog, Posh, died. The male dog, Tye, recieved medical attention at a veterinary clinic. Tye is now in stable condition.
The vehicle has not yet been located, and the thief is still on the run. The person who took the car is described as a thin male with long black hair. The vehicle was a dark red Subaru with a tan underside and Montana license plates.
If you have any information on the location of the vehicle, you are asked to immediately contact Billings Police at (406) 657-8200.
