Steve’s Hot Dogs plans 1st location outside the city

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Steve’s Hot Dogs plans to open a new location in Chesterfield, its first brick-and-mortar location outside the city of St. Louis.

The restaurant, known for its specialty hot dogs, sausages and smash burgers, said in social media posts Monday that it will open a new Steve’s Hot Dogs at The District of St. Louis in Chesterfield, in late 2024.

The hot dog eatery will join 4 Hands Brewery, a planned location of Narwhal’s Crafted, Napoli Brothers Pizza & Pasta, Hi-Pointe Drive-In and others at The Hub, which features an outdoor event and gathering space with a pavilion LED screen and stage and serves as The District’s $4 million centerpiece.

St. Louis-based developer The Staenberg Group is behind The District’s transformation from outlet mall to shopping and entertainment center. Other current tenants of The District include The Factory, a 52,000-square-foot live music and entertainment venue, and family entertainment destinations Topgolf and Main Event.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
