SPCA of Wake County cuts adoption fee for adult dogs 50% to help WNC

The SPCA of Wake County has reduced adoption fees for adult dogs by 50% to help more animals find forever homes.

The adoption fee for dogs ages 1 and older will be reduced through Sunday, Nov. 17.

The discount comes as the SPCA works to clear space to take in more dogs, including those rescued from Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina.

“We are dedicated to finding loving homes for all the animals in our care, especially those who are often overlooked like adult dogs,” said Mondy Lamb with the SPCA of Wake County. “With this reduced adoption fee promotion, we hope to make it easier for families to bring home a new furry family member and support our ongoing efforts to help animals affected by Hurricane Helene.”

People can find photos of adoptable dogs online at spcawake.org. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping.

The SPCA of Wake County is located at 200 Petfinder Lane in Raleigh. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
