SPCA of Hancock County caring for 5 dogs involved in Bucksport animal abuse case

TRENTON, Maine (WABI) – The SPCA of Hancock County has taken multiple dogs who were involved in an active animal abuse case at Coastal Dreams Rescue and Sanctuary in Bucksport.

The SPCA posted on their Facebook that they welcomed five dog.

They say they are working with the dogs during this time in order to prepare them for the forever homes.

The organization says they will be closed Tuesday, Aug.27 so that all staff can participate in caring for the animals.

The say the donation table will still be open that day so people can drop off items.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
