Southfield firefighters rescue 13 puppies, 2 dogs from burning house

Firefighters rescued 13 puppies and two dogs from the burning home in Southfield on Saturday night, according to a Facebook post from the firefighter’s union.

Firefighters were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. Saturday to a home in the 27000 block of Spring Arbor Drive, according to the union.

First responders from Station Three found smoke coming from the single-story home and entered with hose lines through the front door.

The firefighters discovered two dogs and 13 puppies in a search of the structure and pulled them outside, the Facebook post said. The owner arrived on the scene shortly after the fire was extinguished and the dogs remained with them, union officials said.

Firefighters from Stations One, Four and Five also responded, helping with searches, and securing a water supply and secondary hose line, according to the Facebook post.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
