Shelter offers free dog adoptions

In an unprecedented situation, Stanislaus Animal Services Agency (SASA) has taken in a staggering 87 dogs and puppies in just the past three days. This massive influx has pushed the shelter to its limits, bringing its current dog population to a staggering 279 dogs, far exceeding the shelter’s capacity of 183 dogs.

The shelter is urgently appealing to the public to help. To alleviate this critical situation, SASA is offering free dog adoptions for all dogs currently in the shelter. This offer is available immediately and will continue through Sunday.

“We need your support to find loving homes for these wonderful dogs. If you are unable to adopt, please consider fostering a dog. SASA provides everything you need to foster, including food, crates, toys, and veterinary care. You only need to provide a loving temporary home and work with us to find a permanent adoptive family,” said SASA executive director Vaughn Maurice in a press release.

To view the shelter’s selection of dogs, visit: www.StanislausAnimalServices.com or visit the shelter in person at 3647 Cornucopia Way, Modesto. The shelter is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
