JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) – The Jackson County Animal Shelter is looking for the person who officers say dropped off two incredibly sick puppies on a road in Leoni township.
The young huskies were found in a crate on Nash Drive Thursday.
They were very thin. Both of the dogs tested positive for parvovirus.
Shelter officials rushed them to a veterinary hospital in Ann Arbor for emergency treatment.
One of the pups sadly did not make it.

The second, named by the hospital as: “Crash Bandicoot,” survived the night, but is not out of the woods yet.
If you know who was caring for these dogs, please contact the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

They also have a fund set up online to pay the hospital bill for Crash. They are about $2,000 short of his estimated care cost.
