Shelter dogs paint ‘PAWtraits’ at Humane Educational Society

Did you know puppies could paint?

A few artistic dogs at the Humane Educational Society have created a series of paintings that you can buy to support the shelter.

Shelter staff put canvases smeared with paint in Ziploc bags covered in peanut butter so dogs could create their own Jackson-Pollock-styled works of art.

“Who knew our shelter dogs were such PAW-cassos!” HES said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Each puppy painting is $10, or free if you adopt one of the artists.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
